Anna Citak-Scott is Polish-born ceramicist currently based in Vancouver, Canada where she splits her time between working as an architectural designer and her ceramic art practice.
After years of searching for an artistic outlet, she became drawn to the slow pace of creating ceramics and the therapeutic effect of working with clay. Each of her works is entirely handmade on a potter's wheel using stoneware clay. Her ceramics are strongly influenced by her background in architecture, with an emphasis on simple forms, clean lines, and a subtle colour palette. Anna’s goal is to create functional and decorative objects that are minimalist, modern and elegant.
